Hello, I came across your blog today and saw your post about coming to Kentucky to buy a gas pump from Penn's Store. I used to live on the Fork and owned another grocery located about 3 miles from Penn's Store. My old store is still in operation, too. I was there when they dedicated the outhouse at Penn's and Chet Atkins performed that day. I wrote a blog about my years spent on the Fork. It was a wonderful time in my life. I am now retired and live in the capitol city of Kentucky but will always cherish those years.
